UWA IOA 2024 Industry Forum

The UWA Institute of Agriculture warmly invites all interested members of the public to register to attend its 18th annual Industry Forum at The University Club of WA.

This year, we will be tackling the urgent and oft-controversial question: Can agriculture reach Net Zero?

The event will feature a lively discussion between agriculture industry leaders and analysts, innovative researchers and working farmers. Following the formal program, all attendees are invited to join us for a fully-catered networking sundowner.

Presenters

The 2024 Industry Forum will be opened by the Hon. Reece Whitby MLA - Minister for Energy, Environment, and Climate Action.

  • Welcome to Country: Heidi Mippy - Indigenous Liaison Manager, Curtin University
  • Keynote speaker: Dr Michael Crawford - Chief Exectuve Officer of CRC for High Performance Soils
  • Professor Ross Kingwell - AEGIC & DPIRD Chief economist and Professor of agricultural economics, UWA
  • Tony Seabrook - President of Pastoralists and Graziers Association
