Water Retention and Habitat Improvement in Kalamunda

A visit to two neighbouring Perth Hills sites where actions by community volunteers and a landowner which play a direct role in storing water in the land.

Join Perth NRM and the City of Kalamunda for an exciting field day exploring a local community program that’s transforming cleared farming sites into thriving habitats. Discover how we’re enhancing animal habitats, improving water quality, and retaining water in a local reserve.

Plus, visit a 3.5-acre property where our host will share hands-on steps taken to manage water effectively on their land. Don’t miss this chance to see sustainable practices in action and learn from local experts!

If there are participants who have access needs – parking is available at the start and car access to the creek with gravel access to the creek bank.  Please contact the organiser for more details.
