Join us for a practical and informative Farmer Field Day at Carrah Beef summarising a local trail of the grazing crop DYNA-TRIT 1143 forage triticale.
This trail site was part of the FEED365 project which aims to redesign livestock forage systems to fill feed gaps in Mediterranean environments that are being challenged by climate change with increasingly hotter, drier and more variable seasons.
The purpose of this specific project is to establish and maintain demonstration sites of selected forage treatments and to collect animal grazing performance data following grazing on those sites.
At this field day you’ll get to hear from:

Cost: FREE. Please be sure to register for catering and insurance purposes. Morning tea provided.
