A big welcome to the second webinar of our series connecting farmers from across the world to share their stories on building resilience in a changing climate. This session will explore practical ways in which livestock can be used to regenerate farm land and how high animal health and welfare can strengthen whole farm resilience.

You will hear from:

• Dr Simon and Dr  Rebecca Bell are vet specialists in agriculture helping farmers with animal genetics in Western Australia. They're currently transitioning from conventional to regenerative agriculture, farming seasonally and supporting others with their livestock systems.
• Lorna and Duncan Humm farm with their daughter Isla in the South Island, New Zealand. Lorna is a full-time vet and helps Duncan on the farm, which he runs alongside work promoting regenerative agriculture on platforms like Quorum Sense and NZFarming socials.
• Lorna Shaw grew up on a mixed beef, sheep and arable family farm in Scotland. Her interest in livestock production started from an early age and led to a BSc in Agriculture and a passion for animal nutrition. She will be sharing practical knowledge on gaining maximum efficiency without compromising animal health.

Each presenter will share their experiences of farming and livestock management in a changing climate and what they're doing to bolster their businesses, strengthen relationships with their communities and build environmental resilience, followed by plenty of time for Q&A and discussion.

There has never been a more important time to learn directly from each other and share what works in practice.
