Supercharged Regenerative Farming

Dean Ryan farms in the Southern Forrest Region between Manjimup and Pemberton. Inspired by John Kempf he is mixing his own anerobic composts which he is then uses across his property for both horticultural crops and pasture for livestock. He runs Angus cattle, produces potatoes and has recently gone into Lemons, Avos and Kiwifruit.

The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development supported World Soil Day 2020 with a range of resources including a soil pit and free soil science activities for children. Perth NRM acknowledges DPIRD’s coordinated and collaborative effort to celebrate the great work of West Australian farmers.
