EVENT
Who: Alejandro's ranch in Mexico is renowned worldwide for what can be achieved through regenerative practices on an arid, brittle, low precipitation environment if the work done is in sync with nature.
By taking this approach, Alejandro has harnessed natural processes to restore landscape function—more rain stays in the ground, wildlife has returned, plant diversity has soared, soil temperature is warmer in winter and cooler in summer, livestock numbers are increasing and the land now supports more life with fewer inputs.
Alejandro Carrillo is back in WA to visit Gemma Cripps' property, Gabyon Station, and lead a down-to-earth field day.
What: This is a brilliant chance to spend time with Alejandro as he digs into:
Regenerative practices in the rangelands
Natural capital in action
Rangeland chickens and livestock diversity
Virtual fencing collars and how they’re working here
Where: Gabyon Station, Yalgoo, Western Australia
Some beds are available at Gabyon, but bring your swag to roll out!
Meals provided.
When: June 5, 2025, 8am - 5pm
