The National Industry-led Carbon Farming Outreach Program CFOP is delivering un-biased, independent carbon farming knowledge to primary producers and ag advisors, with no sales pitch. These workshops are helping farmers make informed decisions about measuring and managing their carbon emissions. Nationally there are 160 CFOP workshops planned for delivery funded through the Commonwealth Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water.
In Western Australia the Grower Group Alliance GAA is the project proponent delivering 90 such workshops.
The CFOP workshop on the 1st May in Bindoon delivered by Perth NRM and RegenWA was just one of these 90.

The workshop day was well delivered by Chris Wyhoon (Campfire Agri). Chris did a fantastic job presenting interactively on multiple topics such as.
A survey taken post workshop indicated participants increased their general knowledge about Carbon Farming.
The worked example of an on-farm carbon account was the most relevant topic to attendees (65%), while 47% of attendees found both the opportunity to ask questions about their own production data, and exploring what production changes meant to their GHG emissions intensity were the most relevant topics to them.
