Carbon Farming Outreach Program

Project Overview:

The Carbon Farming Outreach Program will support Australian farmers and land managers to reduce emissions and store carbon. This will help the agriculture and land sector play its part in Australia’s transition to net zero emissions.

Project Aims:

  • farmers and land managers can make informed decisions to lower their emissions
  • farmers and land managers increase their knowledge of greenhouse gas emission management
  • trusted advisers to provide advice to farmers and land managers beyond the life of the program.

Project Deliverables:

RegenWA partnered with Western Australian Regenerative Livestock Producers to deliver this project, delivering events and follow up webinars to:

  • support farmers and land managers to make decisions to reduce emissions and store carbon
  • build capacity of trusted and independent advisers to deliver advice to farmers and land managers
  • provide access to clear and culturally appropriate information on carbon farming.

 

 

 

 

Delivered with funding support from the Commonwealth of Australia through the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water under the Carbon Farming Outreach Program in collaboration with the Grower Group Alliance
