RESOURCE
As the coordinator of a catchment-scale project focusing on water cycle landscape restoration, Peter Hazell is in a fairly unique position, working with multiple landholders at various stages of implementing regenerative techniques. This collaborative effort allows the Mulloon Institute to establish the important baseline data that the scientific community requires to progress innovation in agricultural practice. In this presentation, he speaks about the underlying principles of the water cycle and demonstrates the transformative effect of slowing down degraded water systems. The RegenWA conference is managed by Perth NRM with funding through the Western Australian Government’s State NRM Program and supported by NRMWA and Commonland.
Soil Wise is funded by the National Landcare Program Smart Farms Small Grants – an Australian Government initiative. It is supported by Healthy Estuaries WA – a State Government program.
Perth NRM and RegenWA acknowledge the significant early support of the State Natural Resource Management Program, and its critical role in establishing RegenWA.
