Webinar: Healthy Food, Farms & Communities – Global Lessons

This webinar series with brings together farmers and practitioners from around the world to share real experiences of building resilience in a changing climate.

As diet-related disease rises alongside growing awareness of nutrient density, farmers are being asked to think not just about yield, but about what their food actually does for the people eating it.

This session looks at the link between how food is grown, the health of the people who eat it and how farms can be the keystone of thriving communities.

Hear from farmers and practitioners who are putting this into practice – growing for nutrition as well as volume, opening their farms to schools and local communities, and building shorter supply chains that keep good food close to home. We’ll look at how these choices are delivering benefits to the farm, as well as beyond the farm gate: healthier diets, stronger local economies, and more connected communities.

Good farming has always done more than produce food – this session explores how to make that value visible, and how to grow it further.
